Gymnema Sylvestre:
It is a large, more or less pubescent and woody climber. The leaves are opposite each other and oval with pointed tips. The flowers are small, yellow and bunches. If the leaf is sweetening taste but the sweet taste is not perceptible. Similarly, it affects the bitter taste and it has to some extent the saline taste too. This effect continues for a few hours. Thereafter, the person gets back his normal taste perception.
